BRIDGETOWN FARMERS & TRADERS WINTER MARKET
The market will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion located at 20 Jeffrey Street in Bridgetown. It will begin this Saturday, November 24th from 9am-1pm and will continue until Saturday, December 22nd, with a break on Saturday, December 8th, where we will join the BRHS Craft and Market Expo at the high school. The market will adjourn for Christmas and January, resuming Saturday, February 2nd and continuing until Saturday, March 30th, in time for Easter shopping.
Over 25 vendors: vintage decor, baked goods, jewellery, garden art, preserves and pickles, greeting cards, candles, lavender goods, sewn & knitted goods, antiques & collectibles, carved wood, bath & body care products, and much more…
Have lunch at our Winter Market Cafe, serving an array of local and international flavours.
As our Bridgetown market vendor list grew throughout the summer, and includes the previous Tupperville Market crew, naturally we needed to find a larger venue to accommodate the Winter Market, hence the amalgamation of the Tupperville Market and the Bridgetown Market.
Gift wrapping service will be available in December, to support local student fundraisers.
Admission is free.
Gift certificates are available.

And did you go to the Mountain Lea Lodge Flea Market? Lots of your favorite vendors were there! Mountain Lea Lodge and the Busy Bees of the Mountain Lea held a successful local market at Mountain Lea Lodge on Sunday, August 26, 2012 between 1 pm – 4 pm.

Did you get a chance to consider where you were? Jubilee Park, a mix of upland and tidal marsh, was dedicated to Her Majesty for her Silver Jubilee in 1977. It was a joint project of the town, the Bridgetown Lions’ Club, Britex Ltd. and the Province of Nova Scotia, as well as the generosity of former residents. Interestingly, the Park was available because a former owner of the house across the street, formerly Captain Crosskill’s (1815), imposed a ban on building on the area to preserve his view, allegedly to allow him to see when the steamers were coming into port. The park will soon be hosting the Britespan Bridgetown Triathlon (August 5th) and a visit by Nova Scotia’s Lieutenant-Governor during Ciderfest (September 15).

And we welcomed back to the entertainment stage – Bob Biers and Friends! and it was great!
